Beautiful canyon – pure pleasure!

A classic canyoning trip located near Locarno in the Maggia valley. A wet playground for all in a beautiful gorge: spectacular abseils, long slides and some great jumps, and still suitable for the adventurous beginner!

The Gorge in the Valley Grande is ideal for canyoning newbies because the difficulties increase gradually, while providing enough adrenaline for “Old hands”: high jumps (which also can be abseiled down), natural water slides and exhilarating descent through the colourful granite walls make the gorge versatile and varied. Highlights are the amazing rappel down the 25 m-high waterfall, the so-called “mini Niagara”, as well as the grand finale, the “barrel of a gun” – let yourself be surprised!

Trip procedure:
You will meet your guide who will explain about the trip, about the equipment and how we are going to get to the water.

Before entering the water you will receive a comprehensive safety brief, and practice the techniques for the canyon before down we go through one of the most beautiful and most versatile canyons of Ticino.

Jumps, slides, descents up to nearly 30 m, crystal clear pools add up for a adventure of a lifetime!
