Tasting typical specialties from our valleys, observing the artisanal skills of our grandparents, or even trying to immerse yourself in their daily lives are the ingredients of this event, which is set in the past.

The chestnut will be the natural ambassador of tradition and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways.

There will also be a typical market featuring handcrafted products and local specialties.

The festival takes place on Saturday, October 3, on the shores of Lake Ascona; the traditional Chestnut Festival will be held on Saturday, October 10.
